Saturday 2 October 2021
2 hours, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- £25.00 excl.
At Elements we specialise in Outdoor First Aid. This short, practical course is designed specifically for sea swimmers and those that love to spend time in and around the water. We'll cover essential lifesaving techniques and Basic Life Support (BLS) in the outdoor setting to ensure that you feel confident dealing with a life threatening emergency on the beach.
This course focuses on the latest Resuscitation Council (UK) Basic Life Support protocols and also includes AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training as standard. We'll also cover drowning, cold shock, immersion hypothermia and other emergencies seen in and around the beach environment.
This is a short, non assessed awareness course.
You'll receive an Elements First Aid certificate of attendance. These will be sent out by email after the course.
We cover all the essential lifesaving skills including how to manage an unconscious casualty, recovery position, CPR and safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) plus drowning, cold shock and immersion hypothermia in the context of an outdoor remote environment.
